There is no charge for searching or for the delivery of patent text (HTML) documents. Charges
are based solely on the number of unique patent image (CPC) documents
that are delivered during the monthly billing cycle.
There is no charge for duplicate deliveries of the same patent image document within a
single monthly billing cycle. That is, if you retrieve a particular patent image document
multiple times within a single monthly billing cycle, you are only charged for a single patent
image document.
A patent image document is considered
to be delivered when it is transmitted by our server. This includes
transmission via email, batch printing, batch downloading, or direct viewing in a web browser.

Subscription Plans
|
We offer
a number of different subscription plans.
Our Usage plan allows you to pay a flat rate per patent
with no monthly subscription fees.
Alternatively, each of our fee-based subscription plans provide a fixed number of unique patent image
documents per month in exchange for a low monthly fee. If you exceed
the plan's patent limit in any month, you will be charged a small, per-patent
fee for each excess patent.
Should your research needs vary over time, you can change your subscription plan from month
to month. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

- Usage Plan:
The Usage plan has no monthly subscription fee. You pay just $2.99 per unique
patent image document that you retrieve within a monthly billing cycle.
There is a one-time $4.95 setup fee when you initially subscribe to this plan.
This fee is not a recurring monthly charge.
- Starter Plan:
The Starter plan costs just $19.95 per month
and provides you with access to 20 unique patent image documents per month.
If you exceed the free patents in any month, you are charged just $1.99 for each excess patent.
- Professional Plan:
The Professional plan costs just $49.95 per month
and provides you with access to 80 unique patent image documents per month.
If you exceed the free patents in any month, you are charged just $0.99 for each excess patent.
- Premium Plan:
The Premium plan costs just $89.95 per month
and provides you with access to 150 unique patent image documents per month.
If you exceed the free patents in any month, you are charged just $0.50 for each excess patent.

PDF Delivery
|
|
You may optionally request patent files in the PDF file format. Due to the extra transmission bandwidth required for the PDF format, there is a surcharge of 2 cents per page for delivery in this format.

File Histories
|
|
You may also use the service to order US file histories. The file history can be provided
in either bookmarked CPC format or in searchable PDF format.
There is a charge of $0.99 per page
for file histories in bookmarked CPC format. There is a charge of $1.99
per page for file histories in searchable PDF format.
In exchange for the file history fee, the file history will be made available within your account for a period of
30 days. Once the 30 day period has lapsed, the file history will no longer be
available from within your account.
Copies of the file history that were saved outside your account (e.g., on your local computer) may
continue to be used
in perpetuity without additional charges.
